Job Description

Position Summary :-

The sales engineer must be experienced, ambitious, and have a strong track record in sales,

accompanied by a genuine passion for selling technology solutions to Customers. As an

integral member of our team, you will drive sales by targeting new prospects and cultivating

existing customer relationships to retain business and achieve high customer satisfaction.

Role & responsibilities

Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers

(Original equipment manufacturers, Aftermarket - Manufacturing industries in

Segments including core segments like Cement, Power, F&B, and Steel including

Private and Government Organisations) by effective planning and organising sales

call schedules

  • Follow leads given by the Manager & Marketing Team by securing appointments and

identifying the potential opportunities after the visit.

  • Serve Existing Key and allotted customers by identifying their needs and building

opportunities for products, equipment, and services based on value-selling

techniques

  • Identify key personnel in customers and develop personal rapport with them by

providing a high level of customer service

  • Provide relevant and factual technical and engineering information in face-to-face

meetings, make sales presentations on products, services, or equipment to

customers

  • Understanding customer operation / customer problems and give techno

commercial solution or benefit proposal.

  • Submit techno-commercial proposals to clients
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and

operations improvements

  • Coordinate with own Customer Service team to provide technically and

commercially correct quotations against customers inquiries

  • Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information in

reporting templates provided by the company

  • Conduct self-performance reviews and aim at exceeding targets and making plans

to achieve gaps

  • Log daily activity and weekly report, any difficulties to the manager
  • Recovery of AR Payments, Overdues from all customers

Skiils:-

- Fluent in English (Written), Hindi/Gujarat (Spoken) :-

  • Telephone Etiquette

  • Email Etiquette

  • Excellent Communication

  • Product/ Service Presentation

  • Analysis and reporting

  • Opportunity Building, Documentation & reporting

  • Documenting Value and Customer intrinsic benefits

  • Interpersonal

  • Selling (Objection handling and negotiation)

  • Sales and Marketing

  • Review and Reporting

Knowledge :-

Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word

  • Knowledge of Internet, Marketing and Digital Platforms

  • Knowledge of Products and Industrial Segments

  • Maintenance practises

  • Knowledge of Sales, Value Sales, and Insight based Sales

  • Basics of Lubrication and Market Information

  • CRM, Ethics & Code of Conduct,
