We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to be an India-based Senior Recruitment Advisor for the University of Bath in the UK. The role will be based in Bengaluru and will be fully dedicated to representing the institution.

The primary focus of the role will be enhancing the University's overall brand and profile in India by delivering a wide range of recruitment and engagement activities aimed at attracting high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will act as a representative of the University and contribute to meeting international student recruitment targets aligned with the University's strategic goals.

As a key contributor to the implementation of the University of Bath's international recruitment strategy, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing realistic, data-informed in-country recruitment initiatives in collaboration with colleagues based in New Delhi and in Bath. This includes tracking performance, monitoring results and refining strategies to ensure a resilient base of applications and enrolments to the University.

In addition, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and developing relationships with Bath’s key stakeholders based in India including but not limited to, visits to universities, the preparation and delivery of presentations and workshops, education exhibitions, and relationships with key schools, colleges, universities and agents.

You will also be expected to:

• Work closely with UK-based staff involved in undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment from India and colleagues in other areas of the University and student ambassadors.
• Provide high-quality market analysis and country-specific updates to inform future planning
• act as subject matter expert constantly refreshing knowledge through training, sector liaison, and stakeholder engagement.
Develop long term sustainable relationships with key influencers, maintaining a wide range of contacts with international schools, colleges, universities, British Council, agents, and University of Bath alumni and others, as appropriate to the context of the market, in pursuit of the main functions of the post.

The position involves frequent, sophisticated interaction with international clients, and significant travel time is required (40%).

The Most Suitable Background

• 5+ years of experience in increasingly responsible roles related to education or international education.
• Experience representing a Higher Education institution, preferably in the UK, will be a plus.
• Good Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree a plus.
• Experience of supporting international student recruitment and delivery to the target.
• Experience of working with agents and other partners.
• Strong English fluency. Proficient in business writing. Able to discuss strategy and analysis with English speakers.
• Study or experience abroad preferred.
Voluntary or other life experience that demonstrates creativity, hard work, persistence or drive to succeed.
