Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at our company, your role will involve reviewing and analyzing application requirement specifications. You will be responsible for writing test plans, test cases, and preparing test data. Your tasks will include executing test cases (either manually or using automated tools) and analyzing the results. It will be important for you to create logs to document testing phases and defects, as well as report bugs and errors to the development teams. Additionally, you will play a key role in troubleshooting issues and participating in defect triaging and tech demos with onsite counterparts. Your responsibilities will also include conducting post-release/post-implementation testing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze application requirement specifications - Write test plan, test cases, and prepare test data - Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results - Create logs to document testing phases and defects - Report bugs and errors to development teams - Help troubleshoot issues - Participate in defect triaging and tech demos with onsite counterparts - Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle Qualifications: - 6+ years of hands-on experience with manual testing of large public web applications or websites - Knowledge of Content Management System is highly desirable - Experience in project management and QA methodology - Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing - Ability to document and troubleshoot defects - Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Bugzilla, Zephyr) and JIRA - Working knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium web driver with JAVA/Python - Excellent communication skills - Attention to detail - Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude - Strong organizational skills - Ability to lead a team of multiple testers for a QA project - BSc/BE in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your cover letter and resume to info@pnqtech.com.
