About the Role We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take full ownership of ensuring product stability while enabling the tech team to focus on feature development. If you thrive in fast-moving startup environments and want to make a real impact, this role is for you. You’ll be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases , implementing CI/CD-integrated quality checks , and ensuring our releases are smooth and bug-free. Your work will help reduce the time developers spend on bug fixes , allowing us to launch features faster and more efficiently. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and automate test cases for web and backend services. Own the testing pipeline – Implement test automation, manual testing, and bug-tracking strategies. Integrate automated testing into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable releases. Reduce bug resolution time by tracking and prioritizing critical vs. non-critical bugs. Collaborate with developers to debug and resolve issues efficiently. Optimize test coverage , ensuring all key workflows are tested. Set up regression testing to prevent repeated issues in production. Continuously improve QA processes to keep up with our fast-paced development cycle. What You Need to Succeed 3-6 years of experience in both manual and automated testing . Strong knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.). API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar). Ability to write automation scripts (Python, Java, JavaScript). Strong problem-solving mindset to differentiate between minor bugs and critical issues. Experience with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, ClickUp, Linear). Understanding of Agile/Scrum development cycles . Bonus Points for Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling). Familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, Azure ). Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
