Job Purpose
The Senior QA Automation Engineer role is a technical hands-on position which requires a solid understanding of Automation/Scripting concepts and basic Automation Testing terminology.
What You Will Do:
- Develop efficient and reusable automation code for new User Stories, and mentor other QA automation engineers.
- Review automation code created by Scrum Team to ensure compliance with best coding practices and standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and reliability.
- Continuously enhance and update automated test suites, contributing ideas for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation in the development lifecycle.
- Work within Agile methodologies, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and planning sessions.
- Use and manage test and defect tracking tools like JIRA effectively.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges in test execution and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Document changes and maintain clear test artifacts.
- Act as an advisor or coach to junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Other duties as assigned.
What To Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit with Java.
- Hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, Docker for CI/CD integration.
- Basic JavaScript and PL/SQL (Oracle) knowledge.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to automation challenges.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while providing mentorship to junior team members.

- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
