Senior QA Automation Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Build, scale, and maintain automated test frameworks like

  Selenium

  /

  Playwright

  / and the

  Page Object Model (POM)

  .
• Write clean, reliable

  end-to-end

  ,

  regression

  , and

  API tests

  in

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  .
• Design and execute test strategies across

  web and backend (REST/GraphQL)

  layers.
• Integrate automated test suites into

  GitHub Actions

  for continuous testing and validation.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement

  shift-left testing

  and ensure early QA involvement.
• Identify and close test coverage gaps to improve product stability and release confidence.
• Manage test data, mocks, and stubs for distributed microservices.
• Track and report

  quality metrics

  , test coverage, and automation health.
• Contribute to QA best practices, peer reviews, and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 5 years experience working as a QA and atleast 3 years as a QA Automation engineer
• Proven expertise with

  Playwright /

  Selenium

  etc and

  POM-based test architecture

  .
• Strong foundation in

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  and Node.js testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with

  API testing

  (REST, GraphQL) and mocking tools.
• Familiarity with

  Docker

  , containerized test environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of the

  testing pyramid

  and

  shift-left principles

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and fluency in English.

Desirable skills:

• Experience with

  performance testing

  (k6, Artillery).
• Knowledge of

  security, contract, or snapshot testing

  .
• Exposure to

  AWS

  or cloud-native microservices.
• Contributions to

  open-source testing frameworks

  or tools.
