Job Description

Purpose of theJob

As our SeniorBackend Developer, you\u2019ll be the architect of the digital infrastructure of thevarious platforms we build. You\u2019ll write Python using standard web frameworks(Django, FastAPI). People with a knack for collaboration, technical prowess,and a penchant for elegant solutions are what we are looking for.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design,develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django, FastAPI).
YourAPIs will be the backbone of our applications.
Primarilyuse using API gateway and lambda. But also have experience in developingmonolith and distributed monolith applications.
Workwith databases for fast response time and high scalability\u2014whether it\u2019s SQL (PostgreSQL,MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
Createsystems that scale gracefully. Handle traffic spikes with any hitch.
Collaboratewith frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers.Translate requirements into backend reality.
Implementrobust security measures. Good knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security issues.
OptimizeAPI response times, database queries, and overall system performance.
Mentorjunior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold quality standards. Do pullrequest reviews.
Stayabreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

KPI for the role

Design,develop, and maintain scalable backend services with Python (Django, FastAPI).
BuildAPIs using API Gateway and Lambda.
Optimizedatabases (SQL, NoSQL) for speed and scalability.
Implementsecurity best practices (OWASP Top 10).
Mentorjuniors, conduct code reviews, and improve system performance.
Staycurrent on industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Required Skills and competencies

Educationalqualification:

Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science, B-Tech, BE, BCA, M-Tech, MCA, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of non-internship Industryexperience in Backend development with Python framework.
Needworking experience in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Experience with performance testingand load testing tools is a plus.
Competency:

Proficiencyin designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.

Proficiencyin designing and implementing serverless applications.

Strongdatabase skills (SQL and NoSQL). Solid ability to write highly optimizedqueries.

Cloudmastery (AWS, Azure, or GCP). l Good knowledge of job queues and message processing.

Goodknowledge of system design and design patterns.

Debuggingis your favorite intellectual puzzle.

Communicateeffectively, listen actively, and contribute positively to team dynamics.

DecentEnglish-speaking capabilities.
