Senior Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. In-charge of all activities related to Project works as per finalize design & drawings from A & E Consultant.

2. Get awareness to Project team on Compliances and Safety

3. Authorized signatory for all documents related to Project

4. Authorized signatory for the contractors bills, material requirements, etc.

5. Shall be Authorized Signatory authority in absence of Project GM & Project DGM.

6. Responsible for all Project work related construction projects including, site organization, document organization, safety, quality control, contract management and budgetary management.

7. Implementation of Quality Management System, associated tools, processes and procedures to ensure Designing stage of Project activities are appropriately controlled and monitored for the satisfactory progression of the projects and in accordance with standards.

8. Participating Technical Meeting with Contractors / Vendors along with AIDB SME, A & E Consultant, Procurement Assistance

9. Final Review of Minutes of Meeting for contractor / vendor , Minutes of Meeting for Internal meeting.

10. Review and comments on Teams Comments on Final Ordering Technical Specification / Tender and BOQ Prepared by A & E Consultant

11. Participating kick of Meeting with Contractors / Vendors along with AIDB SME, A & E Consultant, Procurement Assistance & PMC.

12. Final Review of DPR.

13. Directing Project team to ensure the smooth running of the Project

14. Scheduling workload to meet priorities and targets.

15. Daily and Weekly Meeting with all Discipline Manager to review Daily and Weekly Progress on Engineering Design on Projects

16. Internal Auditor for Project department.

17. Responsible for any queries arising from the audit teams (from quality, safety and other auditors) and shall ensure completion of the audit points.

18. Directly manage their project team (s) to ensure quality management outcomes in designing stage of Project

19. Responsible for ensuring the resourcing levels on their project(s) is appropriate in terms of numbers and skill level of employees. Overall management of their team(s) including the recruitment, mentoring, performance management and support of team members.

20. Planning, scheduling and overall Project budgetary responsibility for the project(s) they are responsible for, ensuring that Project related activities remain on time schedule and within budget

21. Client liaison to ensure that needs is being met and a good relationship is maintained at all times.

22. Ensure at all times good communication channels are maintained between the project team, contractors and clients.

23. Resolving site vendor conflicts.

24. Final review on rate analysis, comparison quotes, provide technical recommendation for misc items ordered during the Project progress

25. Technically assist AIDB in preparation of snag list.

26. To inspect and suggest remedial measures for any defects arising in the post construction period.

27. Issue Design certification and validation as required by any authority and AIDB.

28. Assist to mark asset tags as required by finance team

29. Final Review and Approval of Change Control

30. Final review of Standard operating procedure (SOP) for the operation and maintenance of the new facility and its equipment and
