Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare detailed project schedules using MS Project.
  • Breakdown the scope of work (WBS Work Breakdown Structure).
  • Track project progress against planned schedules.
  • Identify and mitigate project delays and bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with procurement and execution teams to align resource delivery and timelines.

2. Resource Planning

  • Estimate and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment required for project activities.
  • Monitor productivity and resource utilization.

3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly progress tracking.
  • Generate progress reports for internal and client use.
  • Analyse project performance using KPIs like SPI (Schedule Performance Index) and CPI (Cost Performance Index).

4. Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare RA (Running Account) Bills as per BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and actual work done.
  • Measure quantities on-site with execution and QA/QC teams.
  • Submit and follow up on client bills and subcontractor bills.
  • Ensure timely certification of bills from clients and approvals for subcontractor payments.
  • Maintain billing logs and reconciliation statements.

5. Contract & Cost Management

  • Interpret contract clauses relevant to billing and work scope.
  • Ensure compliance with payment terms and project financials.
  • Support in preparation of budget and cost control analysis.
  • Maintain variation/change order logs and support in claims preparation.

6. Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with site engineers, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Attend review meetings and provide planning & billing updates.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for payment follow-ups.

7. Documentation

  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, approvals, site measurements, and correspondence.
  • Support audits and inspections with required documentation.
  • Planning and Billing for Sub Vendor.
