Role Overview: As a Senior Program Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing major factory expansion initiatives in India. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, collaboration with various departments, and ensuring project execution aligns with business objectives. Your strong background in industrial project execution and passion for operational excellence will be key to supporting the company's long-term investment and growth plans in the region. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the planning and execution of multiple large-scale investment projects across India, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Lead Project Managers, Project Specialists, and Coordinators to develop project management capabilities. - Develop and implement comprehensive project plans in collaboration with HUB and Operations leadership, ensuring effective resource allocation, risk management, and milestone tracking. - Work closely with various departments such as Real Estate, Industrial Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Global Project Management teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of new facilities and equipment. - Monitor and control project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial discipline across all project phases. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's standards for health, safety, environmental compliance, and business ethics throughout all project activities. - Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and infrastructure to support production ramp-up by coordinating with global supply chain teams. - Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to integrate best practices and innovative solutions into project execution and facility design. - Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech); Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) required. - Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field, with a proven track record in managing large-scale industrial projects. - Strong understanding of P&L management, project financing, and commercial operations. - Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with statutory, contractual, and regulatory frameworks relevant to industrial projects in India. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.,
