As the Dean of Journalism and Mass Communication at our esteemed institution, your role will involve leading and enhancing our academic programs, providing mentorship to faculty members, and ensuring the success of our students. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver advanced lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in core areas of Journalism and Mass Communication. - Lead curriculum design, academic planning, and content development to meet industry standards. - Mentor students in academic research, internships, and media production projects. - Evaluate student performance through assessments, presentations, and practical assignments. - Contribute to departmental strategy, policy-making, and quality assurance processes. - Guide and mentor junior faculty members to promote academic collaboration and growth. - Represent the institution in conferences, seminars, and industry events to establish partnerships. - Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in journalism and mass communication. **Qualification Required:** - Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication OR UGC-NET qualification in the relevant field. - Minimum 12 years of teaching experience at the university/college level. - Expertise in at least two major domains such as Digital Media, Broadcast Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or Media Research. - Strong academic record with publications or contributions to conferences and journals. - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Prior industry experience in media/journalism will be advantageous.,
