Senior Procurement Manager

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing end-to-end procurement operations for logistics services in Mumbai (GHATKOPAR WEST). Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing procurement operations, including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchase order management for logistics services. - Overseeing vendor billing and ensuring timely processing of invoices related to transportation, warehousing, and other logistics services. - Conducting and monitoring vendor KYC verification to maintain accurate and updated vendor records. - Developing strong relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize cost efficiency. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards in all procurement activities. - Monitoring logistics-related procurement requirements, inventory levels, and raising purchase requests as necessary. - Preparing and presenting procurement reports, MIS, and insights for senior management decision-making. - Collaborating with internal teams (finance, operations, and logistics) to streamline processes and ensure a smooth workflow. - Mentoring and guiding the procurement team to achieve operational excellence and efficiency. The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. - Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, billing, and KYC verification, preferably in the logistics sector. - Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and other procurement/software tools. - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. With 5-10 years of relevant procurement and vendor management experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or team-leading role, you are well-equipped to excel in this full-time position. Additionally, experience in logistics and familiarity with in-person work environments will be advantageous for this role.,
