(Senior) Power BI / UI Developer - Full remote - contractor in USD

Job Description

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote (Senior) Power BI / UI Developer with +5 years of experience. We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Tasks and responsibilities: Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards to support overall solution functionality and provide actionable insights; Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and reports; Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and usability, providing a seamless user experience; Develop and maintain logical data models to support data analysis and reporting needs; Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive and accurate data models; Ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements; Write and optimize DAX measures to meet functional requirements and enhance data analysis capabilities; Implement complex calculations and aggregations to support business decision-making processes; Ensure DAX measures are efficient and adhere to best practices for performance optimization; Design user interfaces and reports that are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business requirements; Maintain and update interfaces and reports to ensure they remain relevant and effective in meeting business needs; Profile Bachelor or Master degree; +5 years of relevant experience; Relevant certifications in Power BI, data analysis, or related technologies are preferred are a plus; Proven track record of developing Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements; Creating complex Power BI reports and dashboards with advanced data visualization techniques; DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating custom calculations in Power BI; Power Query for data transformation and manipulation; Data modeling concepts and best practices in Power BI; Integrating Power BI with various data sources, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake; Designing and implementing user-friendly UI/UX for Power BI dashboards; PowerApps for building custom business applications; Azure Synapse Analytics for handling big data workloads; Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data workflows; Azure Blob Storage for storing and managing large datasets; Implementing row-level security in Power BI for data protection; Version control systems like Git for managing Power BI projects; REST APIs for integrating Power BI with other applications; Power Automate for automating workflows and processes; SQL for querying and managing data in Azure databases; Azure Active Directory for managing user access and authentication; Troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI performance issues; Fluent in English; Show more Show less
