Job Description

Job Role Overview

Title

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop

    Power BI dashboards

    , reports, and data models.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for reporting.
  • Create and optimize

    DAX

    calculations and

    SQL

    queries.
  • Ensure

    data accuracy, security

    , and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with business users and data teams to refine solutions.
  • Manage Power BI Service configurations (RLS, refresh schedules, permissions).
  • Stay updated with Power BI features and best practices.

Advanced Skills Expected

  • Efficient data modeling (aggregations, indexing, partitioning).
  • Use of

    Power BI APIs

    for automation and monitoring.
  • Real-time reporting using

    DirectQuery

    and

    Composite models

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Azure DevOps

    ,

    Git

    , and

    CI/CD pipelines

    .
  • Bonus: Knowledge of

    AI/ML features

    in Power BI.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience

    :
    • 58 years overall
    • Minimum 3 years in Power BI
    • Minimum 3 years in business process analysis/design

  • Education

    :
    • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent in a business-related discipline

  • Technical Skills

    :
    • Strong in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Excel
    • Experience with various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms)
    • Understanding of data governance and compliance
    • Strong analytical and communication skills

Note: This role is for deployment model in our client and will be under GT payrol for 6 months
