Job Role Overview

Title

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Pipelines, and Dataflows.
• Build analytics-ready datasets using SQL and PySpark.
• Develop dashboards and semantic models in Power BI.
• Integrate ERP and business systems into unified models.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and data scientists.
• Use Azure DevOps for agile delivery and CI/CD.
• Provide production support and maintain documentation.

Major Skills Required

Microsoft Fabric

• Lakehouse architecture
• Pipelines and Dataflows
• Real-time analytics and OneLake integration
• DP-700 certification preferred

Other Technical Skills

• Azure Synapse (Dedicated/Serverless SQL Pools)
• Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark
• Complex SQL development and optimization
• Power BI dashboarding
• ERP data integration (SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce)
• API-based data integration
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts

Candidate Profile

• Experience

  : 5+ years in data engineering

• Education

  : Bachelors or masters in computer science

• Certifications

  (preferred):
• Microsoft DP-700
• Databricks Data Engineer Associate/Professional

• Soft Skills

  : Strong communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration

Note: This role is for deployment model in our client and will be under GT payrol for 6 months
