Role Overview

Power BI Developer

You will leverage Lakehouse backends, implement row-level security, and ensure the operational efficiency of Power BI solutions, driving data visualization excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Power BI Development

• Build, maintain, and operate reusable semantic models and DAX measures.
  
• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and calculations aligned with business goals.
  
• Ensure data model stability, optimize performance, and implement data security.
  

2. Data Integration & Quality

• Work closely with data architects to prepare and integrate data from backends (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, SQL).
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to data integrity, DAX logic, and report rendering.
  
• Maintain documentation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  

3. Collaboration & Training

• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver analytics solutions.
  
• Conduct Power BI user training to promote self-service analytics.
  
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a

  Power BI Developer

  (Tableau experience is a plus).
• Strong expertise in

  DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and composite models

  .
• Experience with

  Databricks, Snowflake, and SQL databases

  .
• Familiarity with

  Finance, Supply Chain, or Commercial domains

  .
• Working knowledge of

  Agile/Scrum

  methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
  
• Ability to implement

  row-level data security

  and knowledge of Power BI application security models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with

  Tableau

  MS SQL Server BI Stack (SSRS, T-SQL)

• Understanding of advanced computations and optimization techniques for large datasets.
