Job Title: Senior Manager Placements

Location: Delhi, Mumbai & Pune

Department: Career Development and Placement Cell

Position Overview:

Senior Manager Placements role with one of the premier institutions for higher education in engineering, science, and management. Will be responsible for strategizing, managing, and executing end-to-end campus placement activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students across disciplines. The role demands strong industry connect, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities to ensure University continues to strengthen its position as a preferred talent partner for leading organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Placement Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement annual placement strategy and targets aligned with university goals.

Identify emerging industry sectors and new employer partnerships to expand placement opportunities.

Ensure equitable placement opportunities across all academic departments.

2. Corporate Relations & Employer Engagement

Build, strengthen, and sustain relationships with national and global corporates.

Engage CXOs, HR leaders, and alumni to enhance the university's placement network.

3. Student Preparation & Guidance

Oversee student readiness programs including resume building, mock interviews, aptitude sessions, and soft-skill workshops.

Collaborate with faculty and training partners to ensure students meet industry expectations.

4. Team & Process Management

Lead a team of placement officers and coordinators to achieve placement goals.

Ensure timely data management, employer feedback, and placement reporting.

Implement digital tools and MIS systems to streamline placement processes.

5. Collaboration & Outreach

Partner with academic departments to align curricula with industry trends.

Coordinate with alumni relations and corporate outreach functions for internships, projects, and placements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.

1015 years of experience in campus placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.

Proven record of managing large-scale placement operations in reputed universities or institutions.

Excellent networking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong leadership qualities and ability to work in a dynamic academic environment.
