Role Overview

Senior Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process automation, and efficiency improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process.

Vendor Management & Negotiation

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers ensuring quality, compliance, and reliability.
• Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing with vendors while maintaining strong relationships.
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and risk assessments

Operations & Process Management

• Oversee purchase requisitions, order processing, and contract execution.
• Implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and sustainability standards

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage cross-functional alignment with operations, finance, and business development teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of procurement experience with a senior management role.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of procurement software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
