Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to critical banking applications
- Most of the critical payment systems are 24/7 and 365 available and hence resource should be ready to work round the clock in various shifts including Saturday,Sunday and Holidays
- Application technical support experience on NACH, Cheque and Trade applications
- Perform end to end technical support of various banking applications
- Handle & manage ITIL process like Change, Incident, Problem management etc
- Managing new requirement /changes to applications, perform technical analysis of changes/enhancements, perform UAT/SIT, Production deployment etc
- Identify issues, with help of users, application vendors wherever required for any defect/errors and act as the first point of support of all issues being encountered during UAT and Production
- Tracking, find out root cause and work on permanent closure of issues
- Prepare knowledge base articles for incidents
- Track, plan and support implementation of Infra Upgrades and Security vulnerabilities/patches for Windows, Linux, AIX, Database etc
- Support applications on SIT/UAT environment. test patches (ensure adequacy, sufficiency and accuracy of the patch) prior to production deployment
- Monitor ETL, Jobs, Health-checkup runs on daily basis and resolution in event of any failures
- Manage regular housekeeping activities for applications and ensure high uptime of applications
- Co-ordinate with application echo partners/vendors & bank’s internal units in issue resolution in the production and UAT environment
- Publish regular MIS updates to all stakeholders as an when required
- Provide technical support to project team as an when required for various projects
- Closure of incident and change tickets on time
Requirements
- Experience Level – 3 - 5 years of experience on banking technical application support. Application technical support experience of below payment , cheque and Trade applications will be added advantage (CTS,NACH, EDPMS/IDPMS, Trade applications (TRRACCS,CTCP) etc.)
- Good knowledge of ITIL - Incident, Change and Problem management
- Technical skill- Oracle/SQL/MariaDB database, AIX/Unix , MQ, Windows servers, Web server, Jboss / APACHE/Tomcat
- Good communication skills and ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders in India and the Region
- Ability to analyse new requirements and issues in applications and manage the implementation of enhancements and fixes from analysis to implementation and provide post Production support
