Senior Network Engineer – LAN
and play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing the network infrastructure for a leading global contact center solutions provider. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in routing and switching to ensure the high availability and performance of enterprise-grade networks, while also contributing to security and load balancing operations that keep mission-critical systems running smoothly.This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise networks supporting millions of customer interactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep systems secure, resilient, and future-ready.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN infrastructure with a focus on Cisco Nexus platform routing and switching.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Support network security by configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and GCP security groups.
- Configure and maintain load balancers to ensure optimal traffic distribution and availability.
- Use and support network tools such as Cisco ISE, Duo, and Linux-based servers for network services.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to implement best practices and resolve network-related escalations.
- Maintain detailed network documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on enterprise LAN environments.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with routing and switching on Cisco Nexus platforms.
- Working knowledge of network security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls and GCP security groups.
- Proficiency with load balancers and network monitoring/troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Duo, and Linux servers in a networking context.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex, large-scale network environments.
Nice to Have:
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, PCNSE, GCP Networking, or equivalent).
- Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Ansible) for network tasks.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud and multi-site architectures.
