Senior Network Engineer

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

• Network Services Management:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
• Manage network security appliances and services, including Cisco and Meraki Firewalls and F5 LTM load balancers
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability, implementing necessary improvements or upgrades
• Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards
• Security and Compliance:
• Ensure all IT infrastructure components comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust security controls
• Oversee the implementation of firewall policies and rules enterprise wide
  

Preferred Skills / Experience

• 7 + years of experience in IT Network Infrastructure management
• Minimum of 2 years comprehensive knowledge & technical experience of cloud systems (preferably AWS), deployment business systems, server technology, storage systems, information security and/or related data center technologies
• Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices:
• Cisco Technologies: Routers, switches, firewalls, and network security solutions
• F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager): Load balancing and traffic management
• Cisco and Meraki Firewalls: Next-generation firewall administration, including threat management and VPN configuration
• Data Center Facilities: Designing, implementing and operating
• Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) environments: Designing, implementing and operating
• Previous experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar ticket tracking and documentation system
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy
