Job Description

About The Role As a Moodle Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Moodle LMS platforms. You will work closely with our product team to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Moodle development and a passion for creating effective e-learning solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Moodle LMS platforms. Design and implement new features and functionalities in Moodle. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Moodle installations, integrations, and customizations. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in coding standards. Optimize Moodle performance and ensure high availability and scalability. Integrate Moodle with other systems and tools as required. Stay updated with the latest Moodle developments and trends. Skills 5 years of experience in Moodle development and customization. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. Hands-on experience with Moodle's core APIs, plugins, and theming. Experience with SQL queries and database management. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Good To Have Experience with SaaS products and cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can API), and other e-learning standards. Familiarity with web services and APIs for integration with external systems. Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.Tech) or Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or related field. 5+ years of professional experience as Moodle Developer or in a similar role.
