Senior MERN Stack Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can take ownership of projects, lead a small team, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with leadership capabilities to mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
• Lead a team of developers, ensuring timely delivery of features and projects.
• Architect efficient and reusable front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Review code for quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Implement secure APIs and ensure best practices in authentication and authorization.
• Manage database design, optimization, and performance tuning in MongoDB.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs as required.
• Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and project reports.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Handle version control, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines effectively.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile development practices.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development using MERN stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.).
• Proficient in Node.js backend development and Express.js framework.
• Strong experience with MongoDB schema design and aggregation pipelines.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Experience in leading a team, code reviews, and mentoring developers.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to join immediately at our Sakinaka, Andheri East office.
