Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Visual Merchandiser to lead operations at our production house and serve as the key link between customers (buyers/clients) and vendors. The role involves managing customer requirements, coordinating with vendors for material sourcing and production, and ensuring that final outputs align with client expectations, brand standards, and current fashion trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer (Buyer) Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers placing orders through the production house.
• Understand customer preferences, design requirements, and style expectations to develop customized patterns and visual presentations.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to translate customer briefs into production-ready outputs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality, on-time delivery, and effective communication throughout the production cycle.
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers to improve product offerings and processes.

Vendor Management:

• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing fabrics, trims, and other materials as per customer and brand requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and quality control.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production schedules with vendors to meet business objectives.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed standards.

Production House Operations:

• Oversee daily production house operations, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and adherence to timelines.
• Supervise pattern development, sample creation, and quality checks.
• Ensure all production activities align with brand guidelines and customer specifications.

Pattern & Trend Development:

• Develop and modify patterns based on current fashion trends and customer requirements.
• Stay updated with market trends, colors, materials, and silhouettes relevant to the target audience.
• Support the creation of innovative, trend-right designs that enhance brand value.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation:

• Support the implementation of visual merchandising concepts across Kerala locations.
• Ensure all displays and visual outputs represent the brand’s aesthetic and align with market trends.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in the fashion or apparel industry, with hands-on exposure to production management, vendor coordination, and customer handling.
• Strong understanding of pattern development, fabric sourcing, and fashion trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Kerala as required.
