Senior Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Sr. Merchandiser to manage the entire export order lifecycle in our steel manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will have strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in handling international buyers, production teams, and export documentation. A strong sense of time management and market awareness is essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete export order lifecycle – from costing, order placement, production coordination, to final shipment.
• Coordinate with internal departments including sourcing, production, logistics, and quality control to ensure timely execution of orders.
• Maintain consistent communication with international buyers, providing regular updates, clarifying requirements, and addressing any issues promptly.
• Oversee the sampling process, ensuring accurate samples are developed and approved by buyers within timelines.
• Understand global market trends and buyer preferences to suggest appropriate products and value additions.
• Ensure on-time deliveries by managing schedules, tracking progress, and handling potential delays proactively.
• Prepare and maintain relevant documentation related to orders, samples, dispatches, and quality approvals.
• Represent the company in a professional and presentable manner, maintaining a high standard of verbal and written communication.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in export merchandising in the steel or manufacturing industry
• Strong coordination and multitasking skills across departments and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with international clients
• Well-versed in costing, sampling, order tracking, and shipping procedures
• Knowledge of market trends, customer behavior, and product positioning
• Proficient in MS Office tools, email communication, and report generation
• Must be presentable, professional, and capable of representing the brand effectively
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
