Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at RIOD. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in product modeling, enclosure designing, mold designing, and sheet metal work, along with excellent communication and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop product models from concept to production, integrating mechanical and electronic components.
• Create 3D models, enclosures, and mechanical parts using Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Develop and review molds, sheet metal designs, and plastic components to ensure manufacturability.
• Coordinate with vendors for prototyping, mold fabrication, and production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements, gather feedback, and implement improvements.
• Prepare detailed BOMs, technical drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for components, fabrication, and coating services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong skills in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and plastic modelling.
• Basic understanding of coating processes and mechanical fabrication tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and team management abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
