Role & responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with RBI regulations applicable to NBFC including NBFC Master Directions, KYC/AML norms, DLG, Co-lending, etc.
• Lead and manage RBI inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Track regulatory updates, assess impact, and drive implementation across business products and operations.
• Oversee timely and accurate filing of all regulatory returns and reports.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, internal reviews, and gap assessments.
• Develop and update compliance policies, SOPs, and frameworks.
• Provide compliance advisory to business teams vis--vis policies, onboarding.
• Conduct employee training and promote a strong compliance culture.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of compliance experience in NBFCs; SCF/working capital lending experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RBI norms, KYC/AML rules, Fair Practices Code, outsourcing guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of handling RBI inspections and regulatory communications.
• Excellent regulatory interpretation, documentation and communication skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail and strong stakeholder management.
