Job Description

As a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner at our fast-paced, innovative organization based in Gurugram, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with key business groups as part of a global team. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing both strategic and tactical support to local and global leadership and Gurugram employees, executing on the talent strategy throughout the year. - Building strong relationships with business leaders to drive and support the people strategy and offer effective solutions to people issues. - Assessing the organization's capability to deliver on business strategies and translating business needs into HR strategies and solutions. - Developing, recommending, and implementing a talent strategy to support business goals, focusing on organization development, talent acquisition, performance management, retention, learning and development, and employee relations. - Conducting in-depth investigations into employee relation matters. - Collaborating with the business to drive high-performing teams, feedback culture, and coaching for performance improvement and career progression. - Working with the Compensation team to create and apply effective compensation programs that drive business priorities and motivate talent. - Overseeing day-to-day HR activities for assigned business groups, ensuring alignment with company objectives and HR strategies. - Providing guidance on company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. - Analyzing trends in the business using data and leveraging insights proactively to develop the people strategy and optimize performance. - Focusing on advancing diversity and inclusion efforts across the business, particularly in hiring, development, and retention. - Managing, contributing, and partnering with HR colleagues on local and/or global projects and strategic initiatives. - Supporting your business with a strong commercial mindset, deep understanding of the business groups, and insight from the external industry. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with strong business acumen - Postgraduate / Graduate degree from a top-tier university - Superior communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Experience working in a highly collaborative matrix organization - Ability to adapt, navigate through ambiguity, and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality - Track record of demonstrated impact on a company's HR practices and procedures - Strong internal stakeholder management skills - Technical HR knowledge across various functions such as compensation, change management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR analytics About GLG / Gerson Lehrman Group: GLG is the world's insight network, connecting clients with powerful insights from a network of approximately 1 million experts.
