About the Role:

*This position is an onsite role in our Mysore office. Candidates must be located in Mysore, and willing to come into the office multiple times a week.*

Senior Manager - Data Annotation

As the senior-most leader of our Mysore office, you will oversee the full hierarchy of the annotation team, including Managers, Analysts, and Associates. We are looking for a leader who is highly motivated to drive operational strategy, manage critical office functions, and has an innate curiosity for everything that makes a great tech product customers love.

Fubo Data Annotation Senior Managers have the following responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership & Delivery:

  
  

  • Overall Accountability:

    Take full ownership of the overall delivery, volume, and accuracy of annotation data. You will ensure the team supports the Research and Development Team effectively to improve the accuracy and quality of deep learning models.
  
  

  • Team Management:

    Lead and mentor the entire annotation organization (Associates, Analysts, and Managers), fostering a culture of high performance and career development.
  
  

  • Process Strategy:

    Oversee the workflow where analysts categorize content and label images, identifying bottlenecks and driving workflow process improvements to ensure maximum efficiency.
  
  

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Collaborate with researchers and engineering leadership to understand data requirements, report on team progress, and discuss high-level solutions to improve data quality.
  
  
  
  

• Office & Workforce Management:

  
  

  • Office Administration:

    Serve as the primary Office Manager, responsible for managing office expenses and ensuring the smooth operation of office facilities.
  
  

  • HR Coordination:

    Partner closely with Human Resources to manage workforce logistics, including shift rostering, attendance management, and hiring planning to ensure 24/7 or required coverage.
  
  
  
  

• Tool & Technical Direction:

  
  

  • Feedback Loop:

    Synthesize team feedback regarding existing tools and propose technological improvements that can drive the accuracy and quality of the teams output

Job Requirements:

• Experience:

  Proven experience in Operations Management, BPO leadership, or Data Operations, specifically managing multi-tiered teams (Managers, Analysts, Associates).



• Office Management:

  Demonstrated ability to manage office budgets, expenses, and facility operations.



• Workforce Planning:

  Experience working with HR on shift management, rostering, and resource allocation.



• Data Acumen:

  Comfortable handling large data sets and understanding the metrics required to measure data accuracy and quality.



• Communication:

  Excellent communication, analytical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between operational staff and technical research teams.



• Attitude:

  Possess high motivation with a proactive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset.
