Job Description

As the Senior Manager Corporate Compliance at Glenmark, you will play a pivotal role in creating and monitoring the compliance framework globally. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects such as risk assessment, policy making, training, third party due diligence, enforcement, monitoring, and driving investigations across regions. Your role will also involve providing guidance and support to country compliance personnel on all aspects of Glenmark's Ethics and Compliance Program. It will be your responsibility to promote heightened awareness of Standards of Conduct and ensure understanding of new and existing compliance issues, policies, and procedures in alignment with local regulatory requirements. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Ensure consistent, proper, and effective implementation of the Company's Ethics and Compliance Program. - Devise, administer, and implement policies, standards, and controls related to anti-bribery and overall compliance and ethics framework. - Partner with, advise, and support regional compliance officers on the Ethics and Compliance Program. - Prepare periodic updates on the implementation and effectiveness of the program and compliance-related developments. - Monitor, evaluate, and enhance the Ethics and Compliance Program to ensure its effectiveness and competitive advantage. - Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry developments related to bribery/corruption, compliance, and ethics. - Provide support on other activities as required within the Compliance Team. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree with CA / LLB / LLM. - Certification in Risk Management, Audit, Ethics, and Compliance is a plus. - Professional certifications in Ethics and Compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional International (CCEP-I), Certified Fraud Examiner, etc.) are advantageous. - 10+ years of experience in relevant compliance matters, including expertise in pharma laws and regulations. - Experience with regulatory compliance requirements and identifying emerging trends. - Ability to work in a fast-paced team, exercise good judgment, critical thinking, agile prioritization, and maintain an influential presence in a changing environment. **Knowledge & Skills:** - Understanding of the regional pharmaceutical market. - Experience in auditing, risk management, internal audit, corporate investigations, legal, ethics, and compliance. - Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (Anti-Corruption laws, Sanctions, Anti-Competition, etc.). - In-depth knowledge of local ethical/conduct/compliance-related risks, employee rights and obligations, and related laws. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in addressing sensitive matters and complicated ethical conduct/compliance issues. **Leadership/Managerial Attributes:** - Adherence to Glenmark behaviors (Achievement, Respect, Knowledge). - Honest, ethical, with high levels of integrity, professional ethics, and confidentiality. - Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. - Strong analytical capability and problem-solving aptitude. - Business focus, clarity, and agility in navigating ambiguous problems. - High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and effective workload management. - Experience in cross-functional and cross-cultural interactions. - Proficiency in conducting and supervising investigations, drafting confidential reports, and advising senior leadership on risks.,
