Senior Legal Manager

Job Description: You will be responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of the organization as the Senior Manager, Legal. Your main duties will include managing the litigation portfolio, assisting external counsels, drafting legal notices, appearing before courts, applying for trademarks/copyrights/patents, and ensuring compliance with laws. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the litigation portfolio, including ongoing and potential disputes. Manage pre-litigation matters to resolve disputes before escalation. - Assist external counsels in providing for litigation, file cases/writs, reply statements, affidavits. Manage external counsel for complex cases. - Draft legal notices, issue responses to notices, Cease & Desists, recovery notices, etc. Manage cases related to debt recovery, asset possession, and breach of contracts. - Appear before various courts, file statements, affidavits, plaints, and complaints. - Apply for Trademark, Copyright, Patents, and maintain repository. Initiate actions against IPR infringements. - Keep track of upcoming laws and ensure compliance. Use business understanding to deliver value to customers. - Travel across India on short notice for conducting litigation matters and related activities. Key Skills for the Role: - Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contractual terms. - Ability to interpret and explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills to articulate legal issues and solutions effectively. - Good organization and interpersonal skills to multitask, adapt to dynamic situations, and work efficiently within a team. Qualifications Required: - LL.B. or equivalent from a leading Law School with 10-12 years of work experience. - Work experience in the EdTech industry is preferred.,
