Senior Legal Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Legal Advisory Real Estate Transactions

  - Drafting, review, , and negotiate various real estate documents including: Agreement to sell, sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, joint venture agreements, etc.

• Due Diligence

  - Manage end-to-end legal due diligence, Liaise with external law firms, verification of property documents.

• Litigation & Dispute Management

  - Handle and oversee civil, criminal, RERA, consumer forum, and arbitration cases involving the company / Draft legal notices, replies, and coordinate with external legal counsels for ongoing litigation / Represent the company before authorities as required.

• RERA & Regulatory Advisory

  - Prepare and review documentation required for RERA registration / Provide legal inputs on marketing materials, allotment letters, and builder-buyer agreements from a RERA compliance perspective (without filing responsibility).

• Contract Management

  - Vet and negotiate service agreements, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts / Maintain and manage contract repository / Monitor key contract obligations and milestones.

• Corporate & Strategic Legal Support

  - Support M&A, joint ventures, and investment structuring related to real estate assets / Assist in legal aspects of project financing, mortgage creation, and loan documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent); Master's or additional certifications (LLM) is a plus.
• 8+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of top-tier law firm and in-house corporate legal roles with Real Estate Developers
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
