Description
As an experienced engineer in the Global IP & MPLS Engineering Centre, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all engineering activities related to WIFI, LAN, and NAC service development. You will be tasked with ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and differentiated network services and solutions offered to customers are in line with the organization's policies and objectives. This includes leading engineering projects, evaluating vendors for outsourcing requirements, and designing and testing new services. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate vendors for outsourcing requirements - Lead important projects, providing guidance to team members - Identify key issues and priorities to deliver required results with minimal supervision - Support delivery & operation teams in new product implementations and troubleshooting - Discuss requirements with Product groups and Sales teams for complex solutions Qualifications Required: - Experience in Network Designing, Solutioning, and Engineering functions - Hands-on experience with multi-vendor network products and gears - Good knowledge of SDN/SD-LAN/SD-Branch platforms & solutions - Experience with Cloud managed WIFI platforms such as Cisco Classic, Cisco Meraki, Juniper Mist, HPE Aruba, Fortinet - Experience with Cisco SD-Access solutions including DNAC, ISE, Fabric - Architecting experience in Network Access Control (NAC) products like Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Forescout, FortiNAC - Knowledge of Data center technologies like ACI and Cisco Nexus switching - Cloud architecture knowledge with Azure, AWS, GCP will be an advantage - Routing protocols knowledge (BGP, OSPF), Switching technologies, QOS, Multicast, MPLS, and VPN technologies - Experience with network monitoring tools and ITSM services integration - Knowledge of automation tools/technologies such as Python, API This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
