Senior Laravel Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading backend development, designing scalable solutions, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior developers. You should have strong expertise in PHP frameworks, database management, and modern web development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP and related frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.)
• Lead the backend architecture design and implementation for complex projects
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
• Manage and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL databases (queries, indexing, replication, etc.)
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver seamless solutions
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices across the team
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Mentor and guide junior developers in technical and professional growth

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience in PHP development with strong proficiency in frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful API development
• Strong experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, database design, and query optimization
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue/React is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to SaaS applications and multi-tenant architecture

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
