Senior Java Software Engineer - Spring Frameworks/Hibernate

Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, translate user stories into functional software components, and drive continuous improvements across the stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust web applications using Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Angular or React, integrated with backend APIs.
• Optimize application performance across the full stack and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
• Design and maintain database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage interactions with MySQL or Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, DevOps, QA, and product managers for seamless product delivery.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best coding practices.
• Maintain version control using Git and manage codebase branching strategies for efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning.

Mandatory Skills :

Backend

• Java (Core & Advanced)
• Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security)
• Hibernate / JPA
  

Frontend

• Angular (v8+) or React (v16+)
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Responsive UI design & cross-browser compatibility
  

Database

• Strong experience with relational databases : MySQL and/or Oracle
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing
  

Tools & DevOps

• Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Maven/Gradle for build management
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools is a plus
