Job Description

This role is in the Payments and Cash Management unit, where we work on cutting-edge technology to create world class financial products that are used by top banks worldwide.

Requirement

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated senior Java developer to join our growing engineering team. Someone with excellent analytical and programming skills, displaying an ability to deal with programming complexity and mentoring junior developers while leading by example. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of a financial product on various business features, while working in an agile environment.

Experience level

- 5 to 7 years

Key Responsibilities

Code Development: Write, test, and debug clean and efficient Java code for new features and enhancements. Able to work independently, with minimum supervision.
Bug Fixing: Assist in identifying and resolving software defects and issues.
Testing: Participate in unit testing and support integration testing to ensure code quality.
Learning & Growth: Actively learn new technologies, tools, and best practices from senior team members and through self-study.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including leads and architects, and contribute to system design. Work closely with QA and product owners to understand requirements and contribute to project goals.
Mentor: Demonstrate technical leadership and ability to mentor junior members in the team.
Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Code Review Participation: Learn from and contribute to code reviews.
Support: Provide support for existing applications as needed.
