Senior IT Associate

The Senior IT Associate supports the organization s technology infrastructure by maintaining hardware, software, and network systems. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, resolves technical issues, and contributes to system upgrades and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

System Maintenance & Support

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems

• Perform routine inspections and updates on servers and networks

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues across platforms

2. Network & Infrastructure

• Assist in managing LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure

• Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues

3. Security & Data Integrity

• Ensure antivirus and security protocols are up to date

• Perform system backups and database archiving to support data recoverability

  4. Documentation & Training

• Document technical procedures and support logs

• Provide basic IT training and guidance to staff as needed

  5. Procurement & Inventory

• Order and stock IT equipment and supplies

• Track expenses and support budget adherence

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Relevant certifications (e.g.,Microsoft Certified)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)

• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices

• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Customer-service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
