Senior International Ticketing Executive - who worked or working in a IATA travel agency and issued tickets without queuing

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable International Ticketing Executive to join our travel company. The ideal candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience in the travel industry with expertise in handling international ticket bookings, knowledge of airlines, and proficiency in Computer Reservation Systems (CRS-Galileo). The International Ticketing Executive will be responsible for managing international travel bookings, coordinating with airlines, and ensuring smooth pre-ponement and postponement of tickets as per customer requirements manually.

Key Responsibilities:

• International Ticket Direct Booking & Management: Process and manage international ticket bookings using CRS - Galileo plus low cost airlines websites plus SOTO tickets, ensuring accuracy in passenger details, routes, and schedules. The candidate should know how to issue the ticket and

  not queuing the PNR to consolidator.

• Ticket Modifications: Handle pre-ponement and postponement of international tickets based on customer needs and airline policies.(Re-issuance on Galileo & Airline portals)
• Airline Coordination: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international airlines, flight schedules, and fare structures to provide accurate and efficient travel solutions to customers.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance with ticket booking, changes, cancelations, and refunds.
• Conflict Resolution: Resolve booking issues or disputes by collaborating with airlines and internal teams, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all international ticket bookings, modifications, cancellation, and refunds as per company policies.
• Compliance & Regulations: Stay informed about international airline rules, regulations, and visa requirements to provide accurate information to customers.
• Collaboration with Travel Consultants: Work closely with other travel consultants to coordinate and manage international travel plans effectively.
• Billing: Need to give billing instructions to the accounts department
• Payment follow-up: Collecting payments from clients beforehand and if any credit given to clients post CEO approval, then, follow-up on payment

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Experience: 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in a travel agency company.
2. CRS Knowledge: Proficiency in Computer Reservation Systems (CRS) like Galileo.
3. Airline Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of international airlines, ticketing policies, and procedures.
4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle customer inquiries professionally.
5. Problem-solving Skills: Ability to address ticketing issues, booking conflicts, and escalations promptly.
6. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in booking and modifications.
7. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple international bookings and tasks efficiently, especially during peak travel periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Industry Certifications: Certification in CRS or Airline Ticketing is a plus.
• Visa & Immigration Knowledge: Understanding of visa requirements and international travel regulations is preferred.

Salary offered: 35-40k per month based on their skills and experience
