Senior Interior Designer – Sales Focus

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a strong sales acumen to join our growing team. This role blends high-level design skills with business development, client engagement, and project leadership. The ideal candidate will not only craft stunning interiors but also drive revenue growth through client acquisition, upselling, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead high-end residential and/or commercial interior design projects from concept to completion.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.

Prepare design presentations, mood boards, materials selections, and space plans.

Translate client briefs into creative and functional design concepts.

Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Contribute to sales goals by identifying upselling opportunities and closing new business.

Attend networking events, showroom visits, and client meetings to promote services.

Prepare proposals, quotes, and budgets for prospective projects.

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.

5+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a senior or client-facing role.

Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and project types.

Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed sales targets.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).

Knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in luxury or high-end interior design.

Existing network of real estate agents, developers, or contractors.

Background in retail design sales or showroom environments.
