Job Description

Responsibilities: Strategic Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to identify, target, and acquire new institutional clients (e.g., corporations, government entities, investment firms, pension funds, endowments, large enterprises). Proactively identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic planning and product positioning. Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and successful closing of high-value deals. Achieve and consistently exceed ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within institutional client organizations. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, deeply understanding their business objectives, challenges, and requirements. Provide expert guidance on product/service offerings, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs and investment mandates. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and superior service delivery. Product Knowledge & Solution Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth, sophisticated knowledge of our full suite of [products/services, e.g., investment products, financial solutions, software platforms]. Effectively articulate the value proposition, features, and benefits of our offerings to a sophisticated institutional audience. Collaborate closely with product development, research, and marketing teams to ensure client needs are integrated into product enhancements and new offerings. Market Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough market analysis, competitor intelligence, and client segmentation to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective and existing clients. Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to meticulously track sales activities, manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and report on performance to senior management. Collaboration & Leadership: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., legal, compliance, operations, finance) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. Potentially mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing best practices and contributing to team development. Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and client forums to enhance brand visibility and network.
