Job Description – Senior HR Executive / Assistant Manager – HR (Generalist)

Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra

Industry: Real Estate / Construction (Builder)

Experience Required: 4–6 years

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Executive / Assistant Manager (HR Generalist) for the Nagpur location. The ideal candidate should bring well-rounded HR expertise, particularly in recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, and performance management. This role is critical in supporting a growing real estate business and ensuring smooth people processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, non-technical, and site-based roles.
  • Coordinate interviews, salary negotiations, and joining formalities.
  • Oversee induction & onboarding process to ensure smooth integration.
  • Employee Engagement & Relations
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and queries.
  • Maintain healthy workplace relations across office and site staff.
  • Performance Management
  • Coordinate goal-setting and appraisal cycles.
  • Support implementation of KRAs/KPIs for different functions.
  • Provide data and reports for performance review discussions.
  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  • Handle payroll inputs and coordinate with finance team.
  • Manage statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, labor laws).
  • Policy & Process Implementation
  • Support in drafting and implementing HR policies.
  • Ensure adherence to HR systems, processes, and legal requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
  • 4–6 years of experience in HR Generalist role (experience in real estate/construction preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, HR operations, labor laws, payroll, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders (office & site staff).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
