Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing digital and analog circuits, PCBs, and communication interfaces for various standard protocols. Your role will involve working with power electronic devices, preparing schematics, EMI/EMC circuits, PCB design, and generating necessary documentation for board bring up. Additionally, you will optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop digital and analog circuits, PCBs, and communication interfaces for standard protocols - Work with power electronic devices and driver circuit design - Prepare schematics, EMI/EMC circuits, PCB design, and generate necessary documentation - Design multi-layer PCBs using industry-standard EDA tools - Optimize routing for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management - Apply best practices in component placement, layer stack-up, via design, and routing topology - Collaborate with fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve production issues - Implement design rules and constraints based on IPC standards and mechanical requirements - Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of layout processes - Own the entire PCB design lifecycle from schematic handoff to manufacturing release - Ensure designs meet DFM, DFT, and EMC/EMI standards - Provide peer reviews, mentor junior PCB designers, and maintain design guidelines and libraries - Participate in cross-functional design reviews, bring-up, and validation of prototypes Qualification Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field - 4-6+ years of experience in hardware and PCB layout and design - Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, KiCad) - Solid understanding of high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal design principles - Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-2221, IPC-7351, and DFM/DFT guidelines - Experience working with fabrication and assembly houses - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.,
