As a Hardware Design Engineer with 7-8 years of experience, your main responsibility will be to lead the hardware design and development processes for new and existing products. You will be required to create detailed schematic designs, layouts, and PCB designs using Altium Designer. Your role will involve developing and executing design plans and technical specifications for hardware projects, as well as performing component selection, simulation, and analysis to ensure optimal performance. You will provide end-to-end support for hardware design from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. Additionally, you will conduct hardware validation and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards, troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues, and prepare and maintain design documentation and project reports. To excel in this role, you should have 4-6 years of experience in hardware design and development, strong expertise in schematic preparation and PCB layout design, and proficiency in Altium Designer. You should possess in-depth knowledge of end-to-end hardware design processes and methodologies, a solid understanding of electronics, signal integrity, and power management, as well as experience with design validation, testing, and troubleshooting hardware components. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this position. Preferred skills for this role include experience in embedded systems design, familiarity with product lifecycle management tools and processes, and knowledge of industry standards and compliance such as CE and FCC regulations.
