Role Name: Graphic Designer Summary: Graphic designers who combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages, one who creates designs that draw people’s attention and convert them into loyal customers. The long hours, the strict deadlines might seem intimidating to some, but it is truly rewarding too. Graphic designers through the use of images, text, and colour, graphic designers can transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, which can make complex ideas more accessible, what better than to display your artistic skills on a daily basis. Responsibilities: • Study design briefs and determine requirements • Schedule projects and define budget constraints • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand • Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic • Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design • Test graphics across various media • Amend designs after feedback • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Qualifications: • Proven graphic designing experience of 3-4 years • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, and Photoshop) • A keen eye for aesthetics and details • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
