Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  GIS-based web applications

  using

  MERN stack

  and modern mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox GL, ArcGIS JS API).
• Integrate geospatial data, layers, and map services from

  ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, or other GIS platforms

  .
• Work with

  spatial databases (PostGIS, MongoDB with GeoJSON)

  to store, manage, and query geographic data efficiently.
• Implement

  interactive mapping features

  , spatial analysis tools, and data visualizations for geospatial intelligence.
• Collaborate with data scientists, GIS analysts, and backend teams to design and expose

  RESTful APIs

  for geospatial services.
• Optimize application performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and maintain clean, reusable code.
• Support deployment, testing, and version control through

  Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

• Stay updated with emerging GIS technologies, spatial frameworks, and JavaScript trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or related field.

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  GIS application development

• Proficiency with

  ArcGIS

  QGIS

  , or other GIS software/tools.
• Strong command of

  JavaScript

  and the

  MERN stack

  (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Experience integrating
