Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design

  • Design and architect secure, highly available, and scalable GCP cloud solutions.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and reference models.
  • Evaluate new GCP services and recommend adoption strategies.

Cloud Migration & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives for enterprise applications and data workloads.
  • Develop cloud strategy, roadmap, and adoption frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment of cloud architecture with business and technical requirements.

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Implement and manage IAM policies, roles, and access controls.
  • Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Security teams for audits, risk assessments, and remediation plans.

Infrastructure Optimization

  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and IaC principles.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide DevOps, Cloud Engineers, and development teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership during project execution and architectural decisions.

Required Skills

  • GCP Architecture & Services

  • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

  • VPC, Networking & Security

  • IAM & Governance Frameworks

  • Terraform / IaC

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps workflows, containerization, and microservices.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.

Nice to Have

  • Certification:

    Google Professional Cloud Architect

  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or serverless technologies
