Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Front-End Developer with a strong background in building modern web applications using Angular (v15 or later preferred). You will help shape scalable front-end architecture, mentor teammates, and deliver high-quality, performant, and accessible user interfaces. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable front-end architecture using Angular (v15 or above).
- Mentor junior developers, conduct constructive code reviews, and promote best practices to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
- Build reusable, well-documented components and libraries for long-term reuse.
- Optimize web applications for performance, responsiveness, scalability, and accessibility across multiple devices and browsers.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and microservices, and collaborate with backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Handle cross-browser compatibility and performance tuning
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and provide accurate estimations.
- Stay up to date with front-end trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional front-end development experience (minimum).
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular. Strong experience with Angular v15 or later is preferred. Candidates with substantial experience on Angular v10–v14 are welcome but should be prepared to demonstrate upgrade or modernization experience and familiarity with the changes introduced in later Angular releases.
- Expertise in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Advanced proficiency in Angular core features, including RxJS, Reactive Forms, Angular CLI, and lazy loading for modular and performant designs.
- Proficient in responsive design, performance tuning, and UI optimization
- Strong experience in integrating APIs, including REST/JSON and WebSocket protocols, to build real-time, data-driven user interfaces.
- Deep understanding of API security best practices, including JWT authentication, token lifecycle management, and secure data transmission over HTTPS.
- Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Solid knowledge of browser behaviour, security considerations, and accessibility standards (including WCAG guidelines).
Good To Have
- Exposure to Node.js or full-stack development.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Firebase, or containerization with Docker.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale projects or SaaS platforms.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, including data modeling and API integration.
