Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant at Workday, you will play a crucial role in managing annual financial close processes, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing trial balances and financial statements for multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards, coordinating with auditors and various teams, supporting accounting projects, and leading compliance-related tasks and projects. You will be the point of escalation for any compliance issues, taking the lead in accounting and compliance-related projects to bring continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare trial balances and statutory financial statements for multiple international entities. - Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards. - Coordinate with auditors, tax, legal, and finance teams to meet reporting deadlines. - Support accounting projects to improve processes and efficiency. - Lead compliance-related tasks and projects, managing timelines and deliverables. - Take the lead in accounting and compliance related projects to bring continuous improvement, with an ability to manage deliverables, communicate outcomes, and have overall oversight. Qualifications Required: - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified - 7+ years post-qualification experience, with international accounting exposure - Strong technical accounting knowledge across US GAAP, IFRS, and local standards - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines - Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams - Flexibility to work across time zones Additional Details of the Company: The Finance team at Workday manages International accounting and compliance, representing over 75 nationalities.
