Job Description: Electronic & Instrumentation Engineer Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electronic & Instrumentation Engineer with strong knowledge of electronic connections and expertise in calibrating equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Design, analyze, and maintain electrical circuits, wiring, and electronic connections. Perform calibration, testing, and validation of electrical and electronic equipment as per industry standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in control systems, sensors, instruments, and related devices. Prepare and maintain documentation of calibration procedures, test results, and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Provide technical support during equipment installation and commissioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability. Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems. Required Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Hands-on experience in calibration of instruments and measuring devices. Proficiency in using calibration tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment. Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, or ISO calibration guidelines. Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals. Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and documentation skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. 3 - 4 years of experience in calibration, testing, or maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment Freshers with practical training may also apply. Knowledge of safety practices in handling electrical systems. Preferred: Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or quality control. Certification in radiation safety and dealing with nucleonic gauges will be an added advantage.
