About the Role

Closing Gap is looking for an experienced Senior Finacle Test Engineer to join our team and support a Greenfield Core Banking Implementation. You will be responsible for testing, validating, and ensuring the stability and performance of Finacle banking solutions, working closely with business and technical teams across onsite and offshore locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and scripts for Finacle modules.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across Retail, Corporate, Payments, Lending, and Channels.
• Validate end-to-end workflows including transactions, settlements, and accounting.
• Work closely with BAs, SMEs, and developers to align requirements with test coverage.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and banking regulations.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and maintain regression packs.
• Manage defects end-to-end: logging, tracking, retesting, and closure in JIRA/ALM.
• Support test environment readiness and release cycles.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in Finacle Core Banking.
• Hands-on experience with Finacle modules (Core, Payments, Lending, Channels).
• Strong knowledge of test design, execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with onsite/offshore delivery models.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

✨ Preferred: ISTQB certification, Finacle automation experience, and knowledge of Middle East banking projects.
